It is officially wedding season and I’ve hit the age where every person I know will be married within the next three months. Ok extreme hyperbole, but in all actuality, I could attend a wedding every weekend this summer if I feel the need. However, on the off chance that you don’t have a wedding to attend, here’s what you can enjoy this weekend.
JUNE 14 | Uncorked Creativity Rainbow Blossoms @ Oma Yoga Fitness Studio Admission: $35. Time: 6:30 – 8:30PM. Paint, drink and be merry. Not quite sure what a rainbow blossom is though. |
JUNE 14 | Father’s Day Gift Making Class @ 319 S. Philips Ave Admission: $10. Time: 1:00 – 6:00PM. Create a keychain or bookmark for the men in your life. Keychains and bookmarks are always classic gifts. |
JUNE 14-16 | You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown @ Orpheum Theater Admission: $5. Time: 7:00PM. I need to know if Charlie Brown ever manages to kick that football. |
JUNE 15 | Color Vibe 5K @ W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds Admission: $40-$50. Time: 9:00AM. Wear white. Go run. Get colored. |
JUNE 15 | Festival of Cultures @ Falls Park Admission: Free. Time: 10:00AM – 6:00PM. Enjoy the different food, music and fashion from around the world. Maybe try out a British accent for the day. |
JUNE 16 | Father’s Day @ A Golf Course Admission: $0 & up. Time: 12:00AM – 11:59PM. Let’s be honest. This day is meant to be spent on the golf course. |
